Beginning in 1900 with Moody’s Manuals, the first guides to U.S. firms, Mergent, Inc. has one of the longest continuously collected databases of information on domestic and international companies. Mer- gent Online prides itself on providing one of the most complete historical databases available, and with up to 30 years of detailed financial data, plus archived annual reports and equity pricing data, they definitely set them- selves apart in this arena. Mergent Online contains a large amount of current data too, including daily updates of executive biographies, current filings, insider trading information, and institutional holdings. DESCRIPTION OF CONTENT A modular product, Mergent Online offers a buffet of choices.
