The Russian entrepreneur: characteristics and prescriptions for success Even though entrepreneurship and new venture creation is extremely important to the future market orientation of the new Russia, there is little information on the state of entrepreneurship in the country. Based on a review of previous literature on Russian entrepreneurs, a survey of Russian entrepreneurs and the new ventures created was undertaken. Abstract
