Classical statistical thermodynamics approach for the exergy of nuclear radiation

Classical statistical thermodynamics approach for the exergy of nuclear radiation The exergy of nuclear radiation is evaluated by using a simple classical statistical thermodynamic approach. Only radiation particles with non-zero rest mass are considered (i.e. protons, neutrons, alpha and beta particles). The starting point is Weisskopf's compound nucleus evaporation theory. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png EPL IOP Publishing

Abstract

The exergy of nuclear radiation is evaluated by using a simple classical statistical thermodynamic approach. Only radiation particles with non-zero rest mass are considered (i.e. protons, neutrons, alpha and beta particles). The starting point is Weisskopf's compound nucleus evaporation theory.
