A d a m s Physician, Wakehurst House, Belfast City Hospital We are here to honour the life-work of a great lady. Whilst we grieve the tragedy th at has taken her from us, we are met, not in sorrow, b ut in thanksgiving for the years of health, of happiness and of activity th at were given her to finish what she had set out to do for hum anity, and we are grateful to her family for this opportunity to acknowledge her life of service and the extent of her achievement. Marjory Winsome Warren, Commander o f the O rd er o f the British Empire, Consultant Physician and Deputy M edical Director of the West Middlesex Hospital, was born in London, the eldest of five daughters o f a Barrister.
