His research interests include the nature and normativity of belief. DAN CAVEDON-TAYLOR is a Central Academic Lecturer in Philosophy at the Open University. From 2012 to 2021 he was Treasurer of the British Society of Aesthetics. He works on a range of topics in aesthetics and the philosophy of mind. He has previously edited for the journal a symposium to th mark the 50 anniversary of Kendall Walton’s “Categories of Art.” He is currently writing a book on mental imagery and its roles in perception, cognition, and mental health conditions. BAHADIR EKER is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hamburg. He works in philosophy of time, metaphysics, and aesthetics. He has also taught at the University of Tübingen. He is the author of a forthcoming book entitled Time and Temporality in Perspective (Palgrave Macmillan) and is currently developing a project exploring the metaphysics of storytelling. ERIC BAYRUNS GARCÍA is an Assistant Professor in McMaster University’s Department of Philosophy. Also, he is a Research Associate in the African Centre for Epistemology and Philosophy of Science at the University of Johannesburg. He was a Fellow-In-Residence at the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University. And he was an Assistant Professor in California State University, San Bernardino’s philosophy department. He specializes in philosophy of race, epistem- ology, and Latin American philosophy. His research focuses on epistemological, ethical, and aesthetic issues raised by racial injustice and colonialism. JUAN CARLOS GONZÁLEZ is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Colby College. He has published articles on a broad range of topics, including the history of Mexican philosophy, ex- istentialist philosophy in Europe and the Americas, Latinx social identity, and Kant’s philosophy of biology. He is currently developing research projects on the political and social dimensions of early 20th-century Mexican aesthetics, Cuban philosopher José Martí’s philosophies of race and ethnicity, and Kant’s philosophy of life. JASON LEDDINGTON is a Professor of Philosophy at Bucknell University. He works on percep- tion (mainly hearing) and aesthetics and philosophy of art (mainly magic, but also related genres and experiences). TIM MAHONEY is an independent researcher specializing in aesthetics and environmental phil- osophy. He regularly presents on topics relating to environmental aesthetics, neoliberalism, and as- sorted projects pertaining to the idea of the culture industry. He played drums in hardcore bands Der Blerg and Closet Case. His current project explores the possibility of political meaning in instru- mental music. SOFIE VL AAD is a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. She works at the intersection of philosophy of AI, aesthetics, and feminist philosophy. She has pub- lished articles on AI art, diversity and AI, and poetics. She is currently working on a monograph ex- ploring the aesthetics of AI art.
