Nitrous oxide reductase from the denitrifying bacterium Pseudomonas perfectomarina has been isolated and purified to homogeneity. The enzyme contained about eight copper atoms/120 KDa and was composed of two presumably identical subunits. The isoelectric point was 5.1.
