The use of Systeme International (SI)units Authors should use the S I system exclusively but arterial blood pressure will continue to be expressed as mmHg and venous pressure in cmH2O. Imperial measurements will not be used even in parentheses except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. historical articles). Conrersion tables from metric to SI and vice wrsa were published in the January 1978 number. Binding Anaesthesia Kemp Hall Bindery will undertake to bind all volumes from 1973 onward. Details will be found in Association News in News and Notices sections. The Index and Title Page for 1979 (Volume 34) appeared as an integral part of the 1979 November/December issue as all indices and title pages have done since 1973. The index for 1980 will appear in the December 1980 number.
