The aim was first to determine 1 he type o f skull by measuring the oblique diam eters of the skull and t h .n to describe the morphological structures of the typ e determined at the base of the brain. Moreover, it seemed desirable to exam ine the topological correlation between tin* individual parts of the base of the brain in sym m etrical and asym m etrical skulls.
