Wilcoxon Signed‐Rank Test <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This is a nonparametric test procedure for the analysis of matched‐pair data, based on differences, or for a single sample. The null hypothesis is that the differences, or individual observations in the single‐sample case, have a distribution centered about zero. The absolute values are ranked. The test statistic is the sum of the ranks for either the positive or the negative values.
