Determination of Plasma Corticoids by Competitive Protein-Binding Analysis Using Gel Filtration A method for the determination of plasma corticoids, based on the corticosteroid-binding properties of CBG, and employing gel filtration, has been described. Similar to the dialysis method described previously with respect to specificity, precision and sensitivity, it has the advantage that it can be carried out much more rapidly—in approximately 2 hr.
