A digital tuning interface has been added to the Sivers‐IMA YIG‐tuned oscillator family to give a direct microprocessor system interface. Called the PM7048/49 series, the oscillator modules are available from Anglia Microwaves Ltd. and provide a frequency coverage from 2 to 8 GHz (7048) and from 8 to 18GHz(7049).

The first flight of an aircraft fueled solely by hydrogen became a reality on Sunday, June 19, 1988, at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. The aircraft was flown by Mr. William H. “Bill” Conrad, and the event was witnessed and recorded by the National Aeronautics Association's representative, Mr. Peter Foster.
