Abstract: Accurately determining seed moisture and efficiently drying seeds is a critically needed capacity for seed management. In this article, instructions are provided to make a moisture test chamber for easily assessing seed moisture content with a handheld hygrometer. In addition, I provide instructions for assembling a relatively inexpensive pressurized seed drier from readily available components using simple hand tools. Basic instructions for using the hygrometer and test chamber and the dryer are also provided.
