SOME INTELLIGENCE AND CHARACTER One of the earliest investigations of the interview is reported by Binet. During the period in which he developed his famous individual test of intelligence, Binet had three teachers interview the same five children and estimate the intelligenee of each. Estimates were based on the results of the interview, conducted as each teacher saw fit. Each teacher was confident of his own estimates, but Binet found practically no agreement among them.
