SENSITIZED PHOTOOXIDATION OF ISOEUGENOL TO VANILLIN Abstract— The photochemical conversion of isoeugenol to vanillin can proceed via the 1O2 (1Δg) state of oxygen and can be effected over a wide range of base and dye concentrations.
