The paper concerns parallelization of an FE code for machines with shared memory in order to speedup computations of large composite shell models. The loop over elements was parallelized in the research code FEAP  using OpenMP, see  for details. The multithreaded solver was also applied. In the previous paper , the performance for 12 cores have been shown. In this work we show its performance for up to 32 cores. (© 2017 Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
