B rown received his PhD in music theory from Yale University and is currently Associate Professor and Coordinator of Music Theory and Composition at Northern Arizona University. His work has been published in Music Theory Spectrum , Intégral and Music Theory Online . J an C hristiaens studied philosophy and musicology at the University of Leuven. His research interests include music aesthetics, critical theory and the music of Messiaen. R obert H asegawa is Assistant Professor in Music Theory at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. In addition to spectral and microtonal composition, his research interests include the music of Scelsi and Ligeti. C hadwick J enkins is Assistant Professor in Music at City College of New York and the CUNY Graduate Center. His research specialisms include the history of music theory, the intersections between music and philosophy, early African American music and Schenkerian analysis.
