He i s a Diplomate in Industrial Psychology, A B E P P , and i s chairman of the Clerical Salary Study Committee of the Life Ofice Management Association. John J . Hopkins is'a student at Brooklyn College and i s working with Dr. Ferguson at the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. T H E most widely used * Presented at the Brooklyn meetings of the Eastern Psychological Asnociation, March 30,1961. LEONARD W. FERGUSON makes possible valid predictions of survival for one year, or for two years, and of production for either of these periods of time. Subsequent to Kurtz’ work, many member companies of the Life Insurance Agency Management Association have conducted revalidation studies, and in general, whenever appropriate criteria have been employed, these companies have been able to reaffirm the basic validity of the Aptitude Index.
