Information for Contributors Human Resource Development Quarterly (HRDQ) is the fi rst scholarly journal focused directly on the fi eld of human resource development (HRD) sponsored by AHRD (the Academy of Human Resource Development). It provides a central focus for research on HRD issues as well as the means for dissemina ng such research. HRDQ recog- nizes the interdisciplinary nature of the HRD field and brings together relevant research from related fi elds, such as economics, educa on, management, sociology, and psychology. It provides an important link in the applica on of theory and research to HRD prac ce. Prior to submission authors are strongly encouraged to review past volumes of HRDQ and other journals sponsored by the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) www.ahrd.org to iden fy the poten al contribu on of their work to the HRD research and literature base.
