Single crystal viscoplasticity, with a regularization technique for the power law, is presented and implemented into a discontinuous Galerkin (DG) framework. Although single crystal plasticity has been extensively studied, its examination with the regularization method in combination with a DG formulation leads to a numerically efficient and robust model.
