Drawing together preliminary research from Canada, Australia and Turkey, the Special Issue papers begin to examine whether there are universal dimensions of human resource management (HRM) climate or whether the dimensions are specific and linked to contextual differences. This is a welcomed Special Issue given the importance and need for greater comparative HRM research, particularly on climates. The health and well‐being of their workforce is paramount for organisations. The Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources encourages further submissions that continue to unpack the complexity of how HRM and other workplace innovations including high‐performance work systems can be used to support and enhance the health and well‐being of workers and subsequently impact individual and organisational outcomes.
