This study compared the work and career experiences of 92 female and 203 male BBA and MBA graduates at the start of their careers. Data were collected using questionnaires completed anonymously. Although some differences were present in individual and organizational demographic characteristics, no differences were found in a variety of individual work and career outcomes. These conclusions, if supported in other studies, show signs of progress in the early career stage. The fact that female and male business school graduates in early career reported identical work experiences and outcomes may indicate similar expectations and treatment by employing organizations.
