A comparison of mean field homogenization schemes for short fiber reinforced thermoplastics Different mean field homogenization methods are applied to a short glass fiber reinforced polybutylene terephthalate. The different models' predictions for the anisotropic effective elastic properties are assessed and compared to experimental data from tensile tests. Abstract

Different mean field homogenization methods are applied to a short glass fiber reinforced polybutylene terephthalate.
