KIRSTIE BLAIR is a Fellow and Tutor in English at St. Peter's College, Oxford. She has published a number of articles on Victorian poetry and Victorian religion, and has edited a collection of essays on John Keble. She is currently completing her first book, Victorian Poetry and the Culture of the Heart. FLORENCE S. BOOS is Professor of English at the University of Iowa. She is the editor of History and Community: Essays in Victorian Medievalism (1992) and author of The Design of William Morris' The Earthly Paradise (1991). ANTONY HARRISON, Professor of English at North Carolina State University, has published numerous books, articles, and collections of essays on Victorian poetry. He is also a co-editor of the Blackwell Companion to Victorian Poetry and editor of the now complete, four-volume Letters of Christina Rossetti. Currently, he is finishing The Cultural Production of Matthew Arnold and is at work on a book on Victorian taste. LINDA K. HUGHES, Addie Levy Professor of Literature at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, works on Victorian poetry, fiction, and periodicals in the context of gender and publishing history. Her recent work includes two guest-edited special issues of Victorian Poetry ("Whither Victorian Poetry?"
