War of Two: Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, and the Duel That Stunned the Nation. By John Sedgwick. (New York: Berkley Books, 2015. Pp. 455. Cloth, $27.95.) Aaron Burr in Exile: A Pariah in Paris, 1810â1811. By Jane Merrill and John Endecott. (Jefferson, NC: McFarland & Company, 2016. Pp. 235. Paper, $39.95.) Reviewed by Suzanne Geissler John Sedgwick is a journalist and a descendant of Theodore Sedgwick, an early national politician who was friend to both Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr.
