Society for Buddhist-Christian Studies Frederick J. Streng Book Award 2010 The Society for Buddhist-Christian Studies is pleased to announce the winner of the Frederick J. Streng Book Award for 2010. Catherine Cornille's The Im-Possibility of Interreligious Dialogue (Crossroad Publishing Company, 2008) has won this year's award. Professor Cornille (PhD Leuven) is chairperson of the Department of Theology at Boston College, Boston Massachusetts. She is founding editor-in-chief of the series Christian Commentaries on Non-Christian Sacred Texts (Peeters/Eerdmans). Her research interests focus on the theology of religions, the theory of interreligious dialogue, concrete questions in the Hindu-Christian and Buddhist-Christian dialogues, and the phenomenon of inculturation and intercultural theology, and she has authored or edited at least six books on these topics.
