<p>Abstract:</p><p>It is believed that the Buddhist view of no-self can help to clarify the problem of personal identity in contemporary philosophy. My article compares ÅÄntaraká¹£ita's view of no-self with Katherine Hawley's discussion of personal persistence. The investigation aims to show how ÅÄntaraká¹£ita's perspective advances contemporary theories on this topic.</p>
