S U N L E I Four Poems my nightclub business I must hire some women stir dusk on their foreheads give them thread, not thread ends adore them, not pity them I know so well the leopards on their bodies hot blood that shuffles leaves In their panting I must evoke porcelain, abyss But I hate my aloofness that turns into stillness on their bodies I must learn to be like them count money, sing off-key, love those who are unworthy of love . . .
