Editor's Note

Editor's Note The Association of Pacific Coast Geographers is pleased to presentEclectic Climatology as an additional volume of the YEARBOOK --the first of two to be published during the current Association year. Publication of this volume serves a dual purpose for the Association. First, the date-year of the YEARBOOK can be made current without creating a break in numerical sequences or resorting to double numbers for a volume. Preceding volumes were limited to papers presented at the annual meeting of the Association in June and of necessity were issued more than six months later, usually about the time of the next annual meeting. When published, each YEARBOOK bore the date-year of the meeting and was seemingly out-of-date when released. The YEARBOOK is no longer limited to papers presented at a meeting of the Association, and the number of manuscripts presented for publication has increased markedly. It is no longer necessary that each volume be outdated when released. This volume also provides a medium for some of the foremost climatologists in North America to memorialize David I. Blumenstock. Abstract

The Association of Pacific Coast Geographers is pleased to presentEclectic Climatology as an additional volume of the YEARBOOK --the first of two to be published during the current Association year.
