Reviews 385 Finally, reading this book only one year after its publication brings home the fact that Africa, China, and the relationship between them are complex and changing realities. At the same time, the China-Zimbabwe relationship that was predicted to be on the decline suddenly made the headlines again with President Mugabe's Chinese-sponsored birthday party in 2010.
