Visual analysis of risks in peer-to-peer lending market Online peer-to-peer (P2P) lending financial products have been developing rapidly in recent years. This investment method is designed for people free of high-rate debts. However, the lending and borrowing affairs between anonymities may potentially produce risks, including wash sale and money laundering. Apart from the well-documented research on the causal factors and economic influence of the P2P lending market, limited attention has been paid to the risk management of individual P2P lending platforms. This study presents a visual analysis method that detects and analyzes risks in P2P lending transactions.
