The agenda will include • Taxonomic proposals discussed at the previous meeting and currently available for inspec- tion and comment at www. • New taxonomic proposals. • The proposal for non-latinized binomial nomenclature for virus species names. th • The forthcoming 8 ICTV Report. • The universal virus database. • ICTV events at the Paris Virology Congress. • Prospects for developing higher taxonomy. If anyone has opinions about these agenda items and/or subjects they think the EC should discuss, they should contact one of the ICTV Secretaries (Mike Mayo at mmayo@scri.sari. th ac.uk or Claude Fauquet at cmf@danforthcenter.org) before 25 April.
