Kirpichnikov decided to become a biologist; how- ever, his to attempts to enter the Moscow University failed because of the biographical particulars. He col- lected the signatures in behalf of his friends and him- self, went directly to the People s Commissar of Educa- tion, and succeeded in that they were took in for the second grade. Valentin Sergeevich noted that despite a pronounced totalitarianism, it was much easier to have an audience with a minister in those years than nowa- days.
