Use of the carbonaceous clay from the Latnenskoe deposit

Use of the carbonaceous clay from the Latnenskoe deposit Samples of Latnenskoe carbonaceous clays containing 8–16% free carbon were assessed. Specimens of ramming mixes for blast-furnace tapping runners and ladle linings, scoops to handle nonferrous alloys, and light-weight concrete aggregates were prepared from such clays. It is recommended that commercial-scale tests be carried out. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Springer Journals
