Use of dolomite dust for manufacturing stabilized dolomite refractories

Use of dolomite dust for manufacturing stabilized dolomite refractories The chemical and phase compositions of dolomite dust of refractory enterprises of Ukraine tha tproduce metallurgical dolomite by firing in rotary furnaces are studied. The main parameters of the process of manufacturing briquets from dolomite dust, the optimum proportion of the compoennts, and the firing regimes for briquets and articles are established. The qualitative parameters of the articls place them in correspondence with chromite-periclase ones, which widens substantially the raw-materials base of the refractory industry and improves the ecology of the region. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Springer Journals

Abstract

The chemical and phase compositions of dolomite dust of refractory enterprises of Ukraine tha tproduce metallurgical dolomite by firing in rotary furnaces are studied.
