It was a year of exciting alliances, a wide range of consolidation processes as well as takeover phases for the global players in German call center business. However, a lot of call center providers followed the path of expansion, dynamically seeking their chances either in new markets or in market concentration. The motto: “Better be ready for global competition.” Let us take a short look at the “big bang” events of 2007 and the new culture of diversification which currently drives the call center market.
