On a fragment of a bubble-cap reactive plate in the water-air system by methods of pulse and step disturbance the features of liquid phase hydrodynamics of a reactive plate at a wide range of the liquid and gas flows were investigated. Modes of the feed input in the reaction zone and of cooling of the feed to suppress side reactions at the initial stage of ethylene oxide hydration are developed. Effect of processing modes on the chemistry of ethylene oxide hydration is considered.
