Synthesis and protective properties of titanium nitride coatings on willemite The instability of brightness and light output of a photoluminescent phosphor based on Mn2+-activated willemite (Zn2SiO4:Mn) were examined as influenced by the ultrafine titanium nitride layers synthesized based on a molecular layering technique. Abstract
