The test samples of silicon high-voltage multi-junction solar batteries (SHVMJSB) are investigated experimentally. It is shown that the efficiency of the transformation of sunlight by silicon high-voltage multi-junction solar batteries without special antireflection coatings is not high and equal to 8%. It is due to the fact that the recombination rate of the minor charge carries is high on the damaged layer surface. The surface refinement and the antireflection coating make it possible to increase the efficiency of the transformation of sunlight by the silicon high-voltage multi-junction solar batteries of up to 13%.
