Sol-gel transformations in the H3PO4-liquid glass-H2O system were studied. The conditions in which the sol and gel are formed and the system is cured were determined. It was demonstrated that the curing products have the form of a crumbly powder including silicon- and phosphorus-containing phases. It is noted that the quantitative ratio between these phases is determined by synthesis conditions, relative amounts of starting reagents and method of their mixing.
