The coefficients of linear and exponential equations approximating the correlation between the length (mass) of a predator and the length (mass) of its prey were considered. The feeding habits of Alaskan pollack, chum salmon, and Pacific herring, considered as predators, were assessed by the value of the angular coefficient of respective regression equations. The bimodal distribution of feeding objects of herring was recorded.
