The advice and support of the Editorial Board contribute greatly to the ongoing success of the journal. Dr. Marcos Sade is with the Instituto Balseiro (Universidad Nacional de Cuyo) in Argentina, and a Lea- der of the Materials Science Department in Centro Ato ´ m- ico Bariloche. He graduated in 1980 with a Degree in Physics from the Instituto Balseiro, U. N. de Cuyo, and later obtained his Doctoral Degree in Physics there as well. He has made a Post-doctoral stay in Ruhr University Bochum from 1986 to 1988 with an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship supervised by Prof. E. Hornbogen. David S.
