Hybridization of the mouse probe to mapped to Chr 18q21.1 [Hahn et al. 1996b]. It appears to be a gene fragments of varying size in DNA from other species was target for deletion in pancreatic and other cancers [Hahn et al. also observed (data not shown). DPC4 is filter hybridized with the same probe revealed two transcripts of a homolog of the Drosophila Mad genes that are members of the approximately 4.0 and 8.0 kb in all tissues (Fig. 2).
