Semiclassical simulation of the diffraction of a material wave from two Coulomb centers An algorithm to simulate quantum dynamics in the semiclassical approximation that relies on assigning an index to each path is proposed and substantiated. The index contains overall information on the critical points in the path. The algorithm is tested in computer simulations dealing with the diffraction of a plane material wave from two stationary Coulomb centers in two dimensions. Abstract
