Sokolovskaya Institute of Marine Biology, Far Eastern Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok, 690041 Russia On July 19, 2003, while examining materials Japan it is found along the coasts of Honshu and Hok- beached by a storm in Sivuch’ya Bay (Far Eastern State kaido Islands. Along the continental coast it had been Marine Biospheric Reserve, Peter the Great Bay, Sea of registered until now only in the southern part of the Japan), we found in a mass of sargasso weeds a sargas- Korean Peninsula [1]. The occurrence of the sargasso sum anglerfish Histrio histrio (Linnaeus, 1758), a fish anglerfish in the waters of Peter the Great Bay was, in of the family Antennariidae.
