The study of the chemical, roentgen phase and structural properties of the products of combustion of system Cr2O3-Al-Fe2O3 was carried out. The analysis of the results shows the presence in the system of a set of solid solutions. The results of the study make it possible to establish the optimum regime of the heat treatment of the studied system for creating the new refractory material according to self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS).
