The result was outstanding. This conference has become one of the most prestigious academic conferences in ﬁnance and accounting both nationally and internationally. See the attached program for the details of the two-day event. During the third conference, we decided that six universities will host on a rotating basis. In 1993, the conference was held at Washington University in St. Louis on October 1 and 2. In 1994, the conference was held at the University of Michigan, in 1995 the conference was held at the University of Maryland and in 1996, the conference was once again hosted by Rutgers University.
