Abstract

The endoscopic approach is a useful tool in the temporalis lengthening technique as proposed by Labbé ( 12 ) in minimizing the scars, and in avoiding a bicoronal incision and osteotomy of the zygomatic arch. The temporalis lengthening procedure is a promising technique on one hand for a longstanding facial palsy, and on the other hand for those cases where other techniques have failed.
