Preparation and catalytic activity research of the Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+/TiO2 composite catalyst In order to make TiO2 with photocatalytic ability in dark environment, TiO2-coated Sr2MgSi2O7:Eu2+, Dy3+ phosphor (TB particles) with different ratios were successfully designed and synthesized. It was found that sample TB2 had the best catalytic activity under light irradiation; when without light irradiation, the optimum catalytic property appeared in sample TB4. Abstract
