OOO SILITEKH IN THE REFRACTORIES MARKET

The range of products from OOO Silitekh is provided. Some results are given for tests in various heating units.
The enterprise OOO SILITEKH was created in 1992.
The main direction of its activity is development of
technology and organization of the production of unmolded
refractories, primarily shaped cement objects and refractory
dry mixes for individual users requiring special technical
solutions. A high level group of specialists work at the
enterprise combining scientific pursuit with industrial
production. The managers and leading specialists have
scientific degrees, and they are authors of inventions and
scientific and technical publications in the field of structural
ceramics and refractories. The internal laboratory and pro-
duction base makes it possible to organize quite rapidly
production of high quality objects using advanced refractory
cement and structural ceramic technology.
During preparation of heat insulating linings and compo-
nents, dry mixes SLOT (TU 5869-002-59367233–2005) and
SLOKER (TU 5869-001-59367233–2005) are used. The com
ponents produced from these mixes according to TU
1549-005-59367233–2005 have an apparent density from 0.6
to 1.5 g/cm
and a maximum operating temperature from
1000 to 1400°C. BESAL and BESALIT (TU 1523-004-
59367233–2005) mixes are used in order to prepare dense
components and linings. The first stage in development and
assimilation of production for unmolded refractories was the
creation and organization of the production of dense and
light chamotte cement mixes and components for lining the
heating furnace TPTs-3 furnace of OAO Volga Pipe Factory.
From 1997 to 2007 more expensive imported refractories
have been replaced and OOO SILITEKH has prepared and
supplied of the order to 320 tons of cement mixes and 2200
components. The life of the thermally loaded elements of a
furnace lining with travelling beams (cement and fixing
bricks) is three years. The life a lining of the Thermostat
furnace (concrete, fixing bricks, roller-hearth and flame
hoods) is two years. During operation no adverse comments
have been recorded for refractory quality.
In manufacturing linings for a number of heating
furnaces of enterprises OAO Remput’mash, OAO Mashino
stroitel’nyi Plant ZIO – Podolsk, and glass making furnaces
of Anopinsk Glass Plant “Classical” dense refractory mixes
BESAL and cement components BESAL-IZ (TU 1549-003-
59367233–2005) have recommended themselves.
In OAO Alkoa Metallurg Rus favorable tests have been
carried out on cement linings of the electroflux refining
(EFR) box and the foam-ceramic filter (FCF) receiver with
pouring of aluminum alloys. BESAL-45 material was used.
The life of these linings exceeds by a factor of three the
linings of chamotte cement for molten glass; here there was a
reduction by a factor of two in the duration of lining manu-
facture. Currently OOO SILITEKH is organizing production
of finished EFR boxes made of BESALIT low-cement
