Oligomeric chloroxypropylates with varied contents of epoxy groups were synthesized from ethylene glycol and epichlorhydrin. The resulting oligomers were modified with phosphoric acid, diethylamine, piperidine, pyridine, and triethanolamine. The structure and composition of the products were confirmed by 1H NMR and IR spectroscopy. Their physicochemical characteristics, surface activity, and ability to reduce the gasoline loss through evaporation from storage tanks are examined.
